About the Speaker
I graduated from UBC in medicine in 1994, and completed my family practice residency from UBC in 1996. I have been doing rural medicine since then with the exception of a brief stint in the US in 1998. My main interests throughout the last decade have centered around primary care reform and aboriginal health. More recently, I have been working towards establishing telehealth clinics for remote aboriginal communities in north central BC to provide regular primary care access for all.
