“Talk Around the Clock” with Charlotte Linford

On Wednesday, April 13th, 2011, Charlotte Linford will deliver her language workshop “Talk Around the Clock” to the UBC Learning Circle.

The goal of Talk Around the Clock is to teach parents and caregivers how to enrich language environments so that their children will develop good language skills.

This presentation will:

  • explain the importance of early language development.
  • provide health care workers with the information that they need to identify children who are at risk for language development.
  • outline simple strategies that will enrich language development.
  • discuss possible ways to share these strategies with clients.
