The UBC Learning Circle invites you to participate in our Aboriginal Nutrition Webinar & Videoconference series. This series of sessions about the relationship between healthy eating and wellness throughout the life course is presented by health professionals from the First Nations Health Authority. Join Registered Dietitian Gerry Kasten (FNHA) and his sous chef Joel Liman, the new Aboriginal Student Coordinator for the faculties of Land and Food Systems and Science, as they explore some delicious recipes that are tasty and kid-friendly. They’ll be cooking and tasting the recipes, all the while talking about the foods and activities that make your family fit and healthy. They will also be discussing feeding kids – “How much?” and “What kinds of foods are best?” This promises to be an eye-opening and tasty session about the basics of healthy eating! All are welcome to attend and participate in this FREE live videoconference and computer webinar session.
