The UBC Learning Circle welcomes Denise Findlay from Kweykway Consulting for a special presentation on lateral violence. Lateral violence is a part of our everyday life. We experience it in many different ways and in different relationships. Family and youth violence, addictions, suicide and lateral violence are just a few of the many ways that lateral violence emerges in communities and relationships. Being able to identify aggression and understanding the root causes can help us to reduce incidents of aggression and violence in Aboriginal communities.
