Smoking can be a tough habit to break. The BC Smoking Cessation Program can assist Aboriginal peoples to stop smoking or using other tobacco products by helping with the cost of smoking cessation aids. Learn about prescription smoking cessation drugs and non-prescription nicotine replacement therapy products (NRTs) and how you can obtain them. The program is open to eligible B.C. residents who wish to stop smoking or using other tobacco products
Join Clinical Pharmacist Aileen Mira for a “butt-kicking” session on how you can get help with smoking cessation. This Learning Circle is oriented towards health care professionals who would like more information about assisting their clients to quit smoking, but all interested community members are welcome to participate and share their own experiences with quitting smoking. There will also be prizes awarded for correctly answering our pop quiz!
