Sexuality: An Introduction Join us as we welcome Jessica St. Jean and Bambie Tate for an exciting and interactive Youth Circle to talk about youth sexuality! Bambie is Gitxsan from Anspayaxw. She has been facilitating sexual and reproductive health for the past 6 years. Gaining most of her skills from working with Indigenous folks both here on the West Coast and in Aotearoa, she brings a lot of depth and humanity to an often clinical topic. Her goal of every session is to create space for folks to take information and tools they need to make decisions for themselves. Jessica St. Jean is the program manager for the Aboriginal Youth Program at Vancouver’s YouthCO AIDS Society. Formerly an educator at Healing Our Spirit, Jessica is passionate about working with our communities to share knowledge and have some fun while we’re at it. This passion, Jessica believes, comes simply from being a Squamish woman. As her mentor and friend says, “we were the original feminists and the original hippies.” In our first webinar of the year, the Aboriginal Youth Program of YouthCO HIV and Hep C society will explore some of the topics that we will be discussing this year. And answer the age old question: Sexuality, what does that even mean?
