On Wednesday, April 6th, 2011, Otto Lim from the VCH Centre from Concurrent Disorders will join the UBC Learning Circle to discuss concurrent disorders and First Nations.

About the Speaker
Otto Lim is the program coordinator for Centre for Concurrent Disorders. He has a Masters degree in Social Work and worked in the field of mental health and addictions for the past 15 years. He has also worked in the areas of grief and loss, HIV/AIDS, and child & youth. He is the chair of the Berman Communities of Practice on Concurrent Disorders on May 25th and 26th, 2011.
About the Program
Centre for Concurrent Disorders is a Vancouver Coastal Health community program providing individual and group counselling for people with concurrent disorders, mental health and substance use disorders. CCD is a voluntary program and offer a harm reduction approach which supports those who are ready to quit substances or those who want to continue using but want help to work towards recovery. CCD provides services to those who live in Vancouver and Richmond.
