On Thursday, March 10th from 3:30 – 5pm, Gil Lerat will join the UBC Learning Circle to present “Breaking the Family Cycle of Addiction & Codependency”.
In this workshop participants will examine the roles that develop in an addictive household. Participants examine the interaction patterns and family rules that develop. Participants are asked to view these roles and what impact it has had on their life. Participants explore the need for changing role behaviours. Participants will also explore the characteristics that are developed in an addictive household. The signs and symptoms of co-dependency are viewed and participants through active discussion learn how co-dependency has affected the choices they have made in life.
